Job Summary
Provide diagnostic and consultative services to physicians and patients in accordance with granted privileges. Participate in educational programs for staff, medical technology students, interns, and residents. Serve on hospital and departmental committees as directed. Assist with developing and implementing new techniques and services while actively participating in the Quality Improvement program. Maintain current American board certification or equivalent fellowship status recognized by the Saudi commission, including Dataflow certification. Requires minimum three to four years of post-board experience in hematology transfusion medicine and proficiency in English.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a medical school of good standing
- Completion of the required period of training in hematology transfusion medicine
- American board / FRCS -Irish, UK, Canadian, New Zealand or Australian/ Diploma d'Etuded Specialises (DES) / CIS French Board/ Facharzt & Sub - Board / Fellowship with Experience as per Job Description post Board / Fellowship, CCST UK Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (UK)
- Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as required
- A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission
- Dataflow
- Min. 3-4 years Post Board/Fellowship in hematology transfusion medicine
- A registered member of the Saudi Board Council
- Proficiency in English
