Job Summary
The Division of Hematology/Oncology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, El Paso seeks a Hematology/Oncology provider to help open a brand new Cancer Center. The role involves inpatient and outpatient patient care in a teaching hospital and ambulatory clinics, teaching medical students and internal medicine residents, and participating in academic programs to enhance quality and safety. There is consideration for launching a Cancer Fellowship, with opportunities for participation in growth initiatives. The successful candidate must qualify for a full-time medical faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate Professor, or higher in the Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology. Requirements include board eligibility or certification in Oncology, ability to obtain an unrestricted Texas State Medical License and DEA, and visa candidacy is acceptable.
