Job Summary
Hematology/Medical Oncologist opportunity in Rockford, IL to join Mercyhealth’s Cancer Institute as an employed physician. Build your individual oncology practice with the backing of an experienced multidisciplinary cancer team and a strong referral network. Role includes EPIC BEACON oncology module usage, participation in a comprehensive cancer program, and day-one benefits after joining Mercyhealth System. Relocation assistance is provided; compensation range is $575,000-$750,000 with retention bonus, CME/licensure dues reimbursement, malpractice and tail insurance, and a broad benefits package. Must be fellowship-trained in Hematology/Medical Oncology with MD/DO board certification or eligibility and be able to communicate effectively within a team.
Required Qualifications
- Fellowship trained in Hematology/Medical Oncology
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in relevant field
- MD/DO board certified/board eligible
- Skilled at providing exceptional care
- The ability to communicate clearly and work as a member of a team
