Job Summary
Diagnose and treat acute or chronic health conditions in collaboration with a physician, obtaining patient histories and performing assessments through observation, interview, and examination. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies while delivering preventative health assessments, screenings, immunizations, and direct treatment management. Counsel patients and families on treatment options and community resources, documenting all care processes in accordance with specialty standards and network policies. This 40-hour per week role offers a $5,000 start bonus, malpractice coverage with tail, and CME allowance within Ascension's integrated Cancer Health Network serving 198,700 people.
Required Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
- Master's degree of Nursing required
Desired Qualifications
- BLS Provider preferred
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
- Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred
