Job Summary
Hematologist/Oncologist needed for locum-tenens coverage in an outpatient clinic in Pennsylvania. Provide comprehensive outpatient hematology and oncology care, managing 15-18 patients daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional half-day inpatient work on Fridays. Responsibilities include 1-2 new consultations, developing individualized treatment plans for hematologic and oncologic conditions, coordinating care with support staff, and documenting encounters and planning activities in the EPIC EMR. Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology and prescriptive authority are mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology
- Prescriptive Authority
- MD or DO (implied)
- Outpatient hematology/oncology experience
- Ability to manage 15-18 patients daily
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
