Job Summary
Hematologist/oncologist locum tenens to cover inpatient and outpatient clinic services in Oneida, NY. Responsibilities include comprehensive hematology and oncology care for adults, managing 9-12 patients per day with 2 new patients daily in clinic and inpatient rounding, day shift coverage with a 1:3 call rotation, and documentation in Epic EMR. Must hold board certification in Medical Oncology and an active New York medical license. Collaboration with 3 other hematology/oncology physicians and support staff (NPs, RNs) to ensure coordinated patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Board certification in Medical Oncology
- Active New York medical licensure
- Prescriptive authority in NY
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- Hematology and Oncology treatment experience for adults
- 9-12 patient per day clinic & inpatient rounding
- 1:3 call rotation
- Day shift schedule
- On-site location in Oneida, NY
