Job Summary
Hematologist/Oncologist locum-tenens needed for a facility in Ohio to provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care across clinic, inpatient, and infusion settings. Clinicians will manage 10-14 patients daily (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, 3–4 weeks per month) with 1:4 call coverage, perform clinic visits, inpatient rounding, and infusion services, and document encounters and treatment plans in Epic EMR. Hospital privileges are required with a 60-day credentialing timeframe; temporary privileges available. The role supports adult patient care within a cancer center connected to a hospital, with collaboration among clinicians, APPs, RNs, and other support staff. Location is on-site in Knox County, OH.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification in Hematology and Oncology
- MD/DO (Medical Doctor) degree
- State medical license in Ohio or eligibility for Ohio medical licensure
- Experience in hematology/oncology care delivery including clinic, inpatient, and infusion settings
- Proficiency with Epic EMR or similar electronic medical record systems
- Strong credentialing and hospital privileges process familiarity
- Call coverage willingness (1:4)
