Hematologist-Oncologist (Physician)

Hematologist-Oncologist providing oncology services at Bayhealth Medical Center Sussex Campus Hospital with a focus on malignant diseases and hematologic disorders. Responsibilities include delivering evidence-based oncology care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate treatment plans, educating patients and families about disease processes, diagnoses, and goals of therapy, ensuring timely documentation, participating in the Clinical Research Program, and contributing to the Oncology Service Line strategic initiatives. Must work with clinicians (Nurse Practitioner, RN Chemotherapy, RN Navigator) to implement treatment plans, communicate with the team, and uphold Bayhealth policies. The role involves participation in quality improvement and alignment with multidisciplinary care standards while handling all duties within the scope of the position. On-site, full-time position based at the Sussex Campus Hospital in Delaware.
