Hematologist-Oncologist (Physician)

Hematologist-Oncologist provides oncology and hematology care for malignant diseases and hematologic disorders at Bayhealth Medical Center's Sussex Campus Hospital, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, educating patients and families on disease processes, procedures, and treatment goals, and participating in the Clinical Research Program. Responsibilities include delivering evidence-based oncology services, coordinating care with surgeons, radiation oncology, radiology, and pathology, ensuring proper documentation, and contributing to service-line strategy. Requires MD or DO with completed internal medicine residency and hematology-oncology fellowship; board eligibility in hematology and oncology; preferred board certification.
