Job Summary
Diagnose, stage, and provide therapy for malignant and benign hematologic disorders and malignant solid tumors while managing both inpatient and outpatient specialty consultations. Serve on committees, participate in quality assurance programs, and assist the facility in meeting established performance measures. Teach and supervise medical students and physicians-in-training as an integral component of the role. Advance your career within an established Hematology/Oncology program at the Carl T. Hayden Medical Center, University of Arizona School of Medicine - Phoenix affiliate. Work Monday through Friday with minimal call, supported by competitive salary, annual performance bonuses, and up to $200,000 in student loan repayment.
Required Qualifications
- Board certification
- Qualification for an academic appointment at the University of Arizona School of Medicine - Phoenix
- Significant experience through education and training to diagnose, stage, and provide therapy and follow up for hematologic disorders and malignant solid tumors
- Ability to provide specialty consultation for both inpatients and outpatients
- Ability to serve on committees
- Ability to participate in quality assurance programs
- Ability to assist the facility to meet established performance measures
- Ability to teach and supervise medical students and physicians-in-training
- Availability for Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. schedule
- Ability to handle minimal call
