Job Summary
Outpatient hematology and oncology coverage for a cancer center within a hospital setting. Clinicians will provide comprehensive outpatient care with a 60% hematology and 40% oncology patient mix, four 10-hour days (Monday–Thursday), and 1:2 call coverage with ~2–3 calls per week from ER or hospitalists. Call can be managed remotely; documentation via Meditech and Aria EMR. Location-based duties include on-site work in Martinsville or Dillwyn, VA. Candidate must have board certification and an MD degree to practice hematology/oncology; locum-tenens assignment details provided by the employer.
