Job Summary
Provide inpatient hematology consult-only coverage on-site in New York on a Thursday-to-Thursday AM schedule, 7 days per week including weekends, managing 16 patients daily. Maintain all clinical documentation through the Epic EMR system for patient encounters and treatment planning. Back-up call is required on a 1:4 rotation as part of the assigned schedule. Board certification in Hematology and an active NY license are preferred, with prescriptive authority required for this assignment. This large university hospital provides specialized hematology and oncology services within an inpatient setting, supported by a multidisciplinary clinical team including residents, advanced practice providers, Fellows, and registered nurses.
