Job Summary
Hematologist/Oncologist needed for locum tenens coverage in California to provide inpatient and outpatient hematology/oncology care. Responsibilities include managing an approximate 20 patients per day across inpatient and clinic settings, with Monday–Friday hours 8:00 AM–4:30 PM and a 1:5 call ratio requiring weeknight and weekend 24-hour call. Documentation will be maintained in the Epic EMR with an anticipated transition to Epic by the end of August. Board certification in Medical Oncology and an active California license are mandatory. The role supports a coordinated clinical team and includes participation in general hematology/oncology treatments, inpatient consults, and clinic coverage; experience with Epic and on-site facility operations is expected.
