Job Summary
Provide inpatient and outpatient hematology and oncology coverage Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Manage call responsibilities on a 1:3 rotation, covering evenings nightly and weekends from Friday at 4:00 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM. Maintain all clinical documentation through the Epic EMR system for patient encounters and treatment planning. Serve adult and geriatric patient populations with a case mix of 60% hematology and 40% oncology, while chemotherapy administration is handled by the nurse oncologist.
