Job Summary
Hematologist/Oncologist for Locum Coverage in an outpatient clinic in Binghamton, NY. Provide comprehensive outpatient care for general hematology and oncology patients, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Responsibilities include evaluating up to 2 new consultations daily and managing an average patient load of 10 cases per day. Collaborate with nurse practitioners, RNs, patient navigators, and medical assistants, with documentation via the Epic EMR system. Board certification in Hematology/Oncology and New York state licensure are required. No call obligations. This is a locum/contract assignment with on-site responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Board certification in Hematology/Oncology
- New York state medical licensure
- MD degree (or equivalent)
- Experience in outpatient hematology/oncology care
