Job Summary
Hematologist/Oncologist needed for locum tenens coverage in Missouri. 40% hematology and 60% medical oncology patient split with 15–21 patients per clinic shift. Bone marrow biopsy preferred but workarounds are possible. On-call rotation is one week per month (weeknights and weekends every 3–4 weeks). New patient admissions handled by hospitalist. Clinic hours Monday through Friday. Ongoing longer-term coverage with CompHealth arranging housing, travel, credentialing, licensing, and malpractice coverage. Compensation ranges from $375 to $500 per hour; rates are all-inclusive and reflect base pay plus overtime, call, and holiday pay. Access to an online portal for assignment details and time entry; a specialized recruiter manages travel and logistics.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified hematologist-oncologist (preferred)
- Experience in hematology and medical oncology
- Bone marrow biopsy capability (preferred)
- Ability to handle 15-21 patients per clinic shift
- On-call rotation availability
