Job Summary
Hematology/Oncology Physician at VA Providence Healthcare System in Providence, RI. Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, consulting, and medically managing hematology/oncology patients; inpatient admissions; history and physicals; ordering and interpreting EKGs, imaging, and labs; palliative care consultations; initiating and administering chemotherapy; assessing tumor imaging; performing bone marrow biopsies; and therapeutic phlebotomy as indicated. Full-time schedule Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Eligibility includes U.S. citizenship, MD or DO, and full active license; Education Debt Reduction Program eligible with potential loan reimbursement. Sign-on bonus or relocation incentive available.
Required Qualifications
