Job Summary

Hematology/Oncology physician within the VA Providence Healthcare System responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, consulting, and medically managing hematology/oncology patients, including inpatient admissions, history and physicals, interpretation of imaging and labs, palliative care consultations, and administration of chemotherapeutic agents; procedures include bone marrow aspiration/biopsy and tumor-imaging assessments (CT/MRI/PET). Full-time schedule 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. in Providence, RI; requires M.D. or D.O., U.S. citizenship, and an active/unrestricted medical license; sign-on bonus or relocation incentive offered; Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) eligibility described.
