Job Summary

Hematology/Oncology Physician responsible for comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, consultation, medical management, and treatment for patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions. Responsibilities include managing general medical issues in this patient population, inpatient admissions, performing history and physical examinations, interpreting EKGs, imaging studies, and laboratory tests, conducting palliative care consultations, initiating and administering chemotherapeutic agents, assessing tumor imaging (CT, MRI, PET, nuclear imaging), measuring tumor mass serially, performing bone marrow aspiration and biopsy, and ordering therapeutic phlebotomy when indicated. Work schedule is Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. U.S. citizenship or equivalent; MD or DO and license to practice medicine in any state; Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) eligibility; competitive pay, generous leave, liability protection, and retirement plans.
