Job Summary

Hematology/Oncology Physician at VA Providence Healthcare System providing comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, medical management, and treatment for hematologic and oncologic conditions. Primary duties include evaluating and managing hematology/oncology patients, inpatient admissions, complete history and physicals, interpretation of EKGs and imaging, palliative care consultations, administration of chemotherapeutic agents, assessment of tumor imaging (CT, MRI, PET, nuclear imaging), serial tumor mass measurements, bone marrow aspiration/biopsy, and therapeutic phlebotomy orders. Full-time schedule (Mon–Fri, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.). Must hold U.S. citizenship with MD or DO and a full, active medical license; Education Debt Reduction Program eligibility available; sign-on or relocation incentive offered.
