Job Summary
Hematology/Oncology Physician role at VA Providence Healthcare System in Providence, RI. Responsible for comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, consultation, medical management, and treatment of hematologic and oncologic conditions; inpatient admissions; history and physicals; interpretation of EKGs, imaging, and labs; palliative care consultations; administration of chemotherapeutic agents via all routes; tumor imaging assessment (CT/MRI/PET); serial tumor measurements; bone marrow aspiration/biopsy; therapeutic phlebotomy when indicated. Full-time schedule, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Requires U.S. citizenship, MD or DO, and a full, active, unrestricted medical license in any state; Education Debt Reduction Program eligible with potential benefits; sign-on bonus or relocation incentive available.
