Job Summary
Set up and inspect metal cutting saws, install blades, and measure lengths to cut raw material to specifications. Load equipment safely and off-load completed material, then inspect features using measuring devices and record results on project paperwork. Maintain saw cleanliness and ensure precise measurements with basic math skills. Requires one year of saw experience, high school diploma, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced industrial environment. Full-time 1st shift position with tuition reimbursement, health benefits, and a sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- One or more years using a metal cutting saw
- Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform precise measurements using a tape measure
- Strong orientation toward quality, safety and continuous improvement
- Excellent attendance and a positive 'can do' attitude
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to lift boxes and other materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a 55 - 90 degree Fahrenheit environment
- Ability to wear vision protection, hearing protection, steel-toed shoes and other appropriate protective clothing
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- One or more years of painting experience
