Job Summary
Conduct underground and above ground pipe installation, including bolting, gluing, measuring, cutting, and testing for leaks. Secure pipes with clamps and brackets, install process equipment, and erect scaffolding for overhead work. Construct forms for concrete pouring and perform site excavations, backfilling, and grading. Use power tools, gas equipment, and shovels while maintaining proper PPE and tool inspection. Mark cutting lines and identify material types for miscellaneous metal installations. This role supports crew work on construction projects with minimal travel and occasional errands. Valid US driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
- Must be able to perform medium work exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Must possess the visual acuity to operate equipment and motor vehicles, perform trades tasks, inspect the work of others, and review work for accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness.
- Must have valid US driver's license.
- Must have reliable transportation to get to assigned projects.
- Must be able to ensure punctuality.
- Must be able to commute to various locations as required by the position.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Desired Qualifications
- Not required but would be beneficial if identified as a proficient operator (equipment operator).
- Access to a personal vehicle.
