Job Summary
Assist other trades employees in your department as directed, including welding, plumbing, ductwork, and electrical work. Handle materials and operate power tools such as circular saws and drills while adhering to all safety rules and policies. Work in a fast-paced team environment, reading blueprints and tape measures as needed. This role offers opportunities to learn skilled trades and potentially relocate to our new Asheboro facility. We serve mission-critical sectors including healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and data centers.
Required Qualifications
- Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish
- Minimum of a high school education or equivalent
- Ability to speak and read either English or Spanish
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stoop, bend, crawl, and climb ladders throughout the shift
- Ability to stand and work for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction environment
- Ability to read blueprints
