Job Summary
Assist pipe fitters and welders during fabrication, installation, and erection activities, including handling, shifting, and loading piping materials. Perform tasks such as cleaning, grinding, cutting assistance, deburring, and preparing work areas, tools, and materials. Support rigging, alignment, fit-up, and installation of supports, clamps, and brackets while maintaining proper housekeeping and safe access. Carry out dismantling and reinstatement during modifications, and support hydrotesting, flushing, and pre-commissioning. Operate hand tools safely under guidance and follow instructions from the Piping Foreman to complete assigned tasks. Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Oil & Gas or EPC projects required, with willingness to work in remote outdoor locations under varying weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Piping Helper in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, or EPC projects
- Willingness to work in remote locations as required
- Must be able to work in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
Desired Qualifications
- Basic education or vocational training preferred
- Basic knowledge of mechanical/piping work is an advantage
- Previous experience supporting pipe fitters and welders is preferred
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities
- Effective communication skills
