Job Summary
The Helper Pipeyard is responsible for following verbal and hand signal instructions to identify pipe for movement, verifying heat numbers and quantities, and ensuring complete chocking of pipe. Duties include installing strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage during transit, and performing tasks like painting, stenciling, sandblasting, and coating pipes. The role requires adherence to safety precautions and appropriate PPE usage, with opportunities for cross-training and housekeeping responsibilities as needed.
Required Qualifications
