Job Summary
Conduct general labor tasks including job site preparation, clean-up, and material loading, unloading, and distribution. Assist craft workers with installations by laying out tools and performing basic needs while following directions from site leaders or foremen. Retrieve tools and clean debris to support multi-craft teams in millwrighting, pipefitting, welding, and fabrication projects. This role requires cross-training in various trades to meet unique customer job requests at Cherokee Millwright.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to regularly stand
- Ability to frequently walk
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
