Job Summary
Assist the mechanic, foreman, and superintendent with general work activities, unloading trucks, and completing projects on time while maintaining a clean, organized job space. Provide high-quality work without constant reminders by communicating clearly with management, superintendents, and customers, and observe or correct any unsafe work environments. Follow all safety policies and procedures, including occasional lifting up to 50 lbs and constant lifting to 25 lbs, while working in conditions involving extreme heat, cold, noise, and exposure to chemicals or moving mechanical parts. Bring your own hand tools and demonstrate the ability to work flexible schedules including days, nights, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Some knowledge of HVAC or general construction
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule (days, nights, and some weekends)
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have reliable form of communication
- Must show up on time in the appropriate attire and professionally present yourself
- Must bring your own hand tools
- Ability to communicate clearly with Foreman and follow direction
- Ability to show up on time, ready to work and in uniform
- Must successfully pass a background check & drug test
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. (maximum solo lift)
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. (constant lifting)
