Job Summary
Conduct various duties to assist employees or work independently as assigned, utilizing production illustrations, specifications, and blueprints to derive measurements and prepare parts for anodizing, etching, and painting applications. Employ precision measuring instruments and computing software to ensure accuracy, while applying shop arithmetic for calculations related to work assignments. Maintain a clean and organized work area, collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow, and communicate effectively regarding project status and issues. Document work processes for quality assurance and assist in troubleshooting measurement discrepancies. Perform physical tasks including lifting weights ranging from 10-35 lbs and adapt to varying noise levels and atmospheric conditions. This onsite role requires adherence to Export Control compliance and participation in training to enhance skills.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience using basic math (e.g. addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
- 1+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8-hour shift
- Basic computer experience and competency
- US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.62 (US Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
- High school graduate or GED
- Willingness and ability to work overtime if needed
- Experience in tank line operations
- Successful completion of the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
- This position is for a variety of shifts
