Job Summary
Break down cement casts from oyster reefs and molds safely while operating an overhead crane. Perform daily visual inspections and minor maintenance on equipment, lubricate machinery, and splice or repair cables and ropes. Select proper PPE, conduct behavior-based safety observations, and participate in daily JSEA planning discussions. Understand and utilize Stop Work Authority throughout all lifting operations. Candidates must possess two or more years of fabrication experience, knowledge of crane hand signals, and the ability to select correct rigging based on weight and balance loads. Pass a written rigger assessment. Schedule includes Monday through Friday with weekends as needed.
