Job Summary
The Helper is responsible for adhering to construction safety guidelines and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Key duties include assisting with trench-related tasks, installing underground conduit and ground wire, backfilling and compacting trenches, and supporting operators of heavy machinery. The role requires accurate tape measurement skills, maintenance of a clean job site, and teamwork. Candidates must have OSHA 10 certification and be able to perform manual labor in outdoor conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to speak and understand English
- Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately
- OSHA 10 certification (minimum requirement)
- Ability to work safely in and around open trenches and heavy equipment
- Physically capable of performing manual labor in outdoor environments
- Willingness to follow instructions and work as part of a team
