Job Summary
Load and empty residential and/or commercial containers into the truck, operating hoisting devices to lift bins into the hopper. Assist the driver with all backing maneuvers and communicate customer requests to Operations Manager or Dispatch. Manually or mechanically stage containers curbside, dockside, carryout, or requiring pullout to complete service. Immediately report unsafe situations, service interruptions, or incidents to the Operations Manager or Dispatch. Perform all duties as scheduled to meet customer needs while strictly complying with WM Safety and Life Critical Rules, OSHA requirements, and all local, state, and federal laws.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, feel, stand, walk, handle, grasp, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions with eye/hand/foot coordination
- Must strictly comply with all safety rules and protocols
- Must be subject to drug and alcohol testing including pre-employment screening, post-incident evaluations, reasonable suspicion checks, and random testing
