Job Summary
Loads and empties residential and/or commercial containers into truck manually or mechanically. Maneuvers containers staged curbside, dockside, carryout, or requiring pullout to complete service. Operates hoisting device to lift and empty bins into truck hopper. Places serviced bins back in up-right position with covers secured. Assists driver with backing maneuvers while on route. Loads trash and recycling into rear load truck in fluctuating weather conditions. Lifts 50 pounds constantly throughout the day while maintaining stamina. Always maintains a safe working environment and communicates professionally with customers and employees. Participates in training to expand knowledge of company products, sales, and services.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Physical ability to lift 50lbs constantly throughout the day
- Ability to work under many different weather conditions
- Successful completion of pre-employment testing
- Pass a drug screen
