Job Summary
Loads and empties residential and commercial containers manually or mechanically, maneuvers staged curbside, dockside, or pullout containers, and operates hoisting devices to lift bins into truck hoppers. Places serviced bins back in up-right positions with covers secured, assists drivers with backing maneuvers, and loads trash and recycling into rear load trucks in fluctuating weather. Lifts 50 pounds constantly while maintaining stamina for this physically demanding role. Works in a high pace, ever-changing industry, communicating professionally with customers and employees. Completes pre-employment testing including a drug screen. Participates in training to expand knowledge of company products and services.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Physical ability to lift 50lbs constantly throughout the day
- Ability to work under many different weather conditions
- Successful completion of pre-employment testing
- Successful completion of a drug screen
