Job Summary
Loads and empties residential and commercial containers manually or mechanically, maneuvers staged curbside or dockside bins, and operates hoisting devices to lift items into truck hoppers. Places serviced containers back in up-right positions with covers secured, assists drivers with backing maneuvers, and loads trash and recycling into rear-load trucks in fluctuating weather. Lifts 50 pounds constantly throughout the day while maintaining stamina for this physically demanding role. Always maintains a safe working environment and communicates professionally with customers and employees. Participates in training to expand knowledge of company products and services.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Physical ability to lift 50lbs. constantly throughout the day
- Ability to work under many different weather conditions
- Successful completion of pre-employment testing
- Pass a drug screen
