Helper C (Evenings and Overnights)

Helper C (Evenings and Overnights) responsibilities include completing work orders within your classification, assisting the Head Janitor/Assistant Head Janitor with distribution of work orders, moving trash containers, maintaining garbage removal equipment, assisting with snow and ice removal, cleaning and maintaining common spaces, assisting with trash-out of vacant apartments, coordinating parts and supplies from vendors, performing routine maintenance tasks and basic repairs in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, recording data in building logbooks, processing departmental paperwork, functioning as a team member, upholding quality of service and safety programs, and contributing to energy conservation efforts. Requires OSHA ACM awareness certification, experience commensurate with facility, and knowledge of energy-conservation strategies; able to work on ladders/elevated surfaces and interact with building systems.
