Job Summary
Elevator industry role: Provide on-site support as an Elevator Helper to assist the Mechanic on modernization projects, transport tools and materials, hold and position parts during installation or repair, clean components, follow safety protocols, troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues, and maintain organized job sites. Requires strong attention to detail, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and HS diploma or equivalent. Prior elevator experience or technical military training is highly preferred; valid driver’s license and ability to drive a cargo van are required. Office location in Brooklyn, NY with on-site work across commercial, hospital, airport, and residential settings. Target candidates have 2+ years of relevant experience and knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, engines, or HVAC; CET training opportunities offered by AEG are available for career advancement.
