Job Summary
Provide technical support for Microsoft core business applications, cloud services, and virtual environments while performing remote troubleshooting of workstations, servers, and network infrastructure. Manage disaster recovery and business continuity solutions, configure networking equipment including WAN/LAN connectivity and security systems, and implement remote access solutions such as VPN and Terminal Services. Maintain accurate documentation of hardware, software, and standard operating procedures while communicating effectively with clients to provide updates on incident status and scheduled outages. This role requires 4–6 years of experience in an MSP environment and is based in Fairfax, VA.
Required Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
- Strong team orientation with the ability to communicate effectively in a collaborative environment
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, including professional phone etiquette and active listening
- Technical awareness with the ability to assess issues, align appropriate resources, and advise clients on effective business solutions
- Solid troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across a range of technical issues
- Working knowledge of Microsoft desktop and server platforms, including Microsoft 365 (Office 365)
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, and Microsoft 365 administration
- Familiarity with Mac OS environments
- Experience supporting industry-specific applications (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or other AEC tools)
Desired Qualifications
- Industry certifications such as Microsoft MCP or CompTIA A+ preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred
