Job Summary
Provide end-user support for PC, server, and mainframe applications and hardware under direct supervision. Respond to inquiries via telephone and email, run automatic diagnostics, and diagnose hardware and software issues. Simulate user problems to resolve operating difficulties and walk customers through problem-solving steps. Install, modify, and clean computer hardware and software; write training manuals and train users on new systems. Collaborate on planning PC system installations and create knowledge base articles. Requires active Secret clearance and DoD 8570.01-M IAT II certification. One to two years of IT experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must have an active Secret clearance to start
- Must possess an active DoD 8570.01-M / DoD 8140 IAT Level II baseline certification
- Must have at least 1 year of experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) system ServiceNow, Remedy, or other similar systems
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 Years experience preferred
- Associate Degree in Computer Science or related technologies
- Previous internship
- Proficient in Microsoft Active Directory (Account creation, modification, and account management)
- Proficient in Print server administration and managing/supporting multifunction devices
- Knowledge of Change Management
- Proficient in Software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Proficient in Remote Desktop support and remote control of customer computers
- Proficient in Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), including applications and configuration
- Ability to understand, implement, and advise customers on organization security policies and procedures
- Excellent Customer Service and communications skills
