Job Summary
Level-1 Helpdesk Intake Coordinator to join Avalon's IT department. Responsibilities include capturing issues in Zendesk, fielding phone calls, troubleshooting minor software issues, maintaining Windows OS computers, documenting resolutions, and supporting office moves with new services/equipment. The role requires strong tenacity, customer service focus, organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a hybrid in-office/work-from-home arrangement after training. Compensation starts at $20.00-$23.00/hour, with benefits including health/dental/vision, 401(k), and tuition debt assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work from our headquarters in Schaumburg, IL
- Full-time non-exempt hourly position
- Experience with ticket system (e.g., Zendesk)
- Field phone calls via help desk support numbers
- Handle minor software issues through troubleshooting
- Maintain, configure, and support Windows OS computers
- Document support issues and their resolutions
- Support office moves with setup of new services and equipment
- Team-oriented and proactive
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn new concepts and programs
