Job Summary
Provide tier-1 help desk support for a government intranet program at Fort Meade.Responsibilities include rotating shifts (4 days on, 3 days off) with 10-hour days, health and status monitoring of services, basic troubleshooting using SOPs, restarting services/servers to resolve outages, documenting outage information, and communicating with coworkers and customers. Deliver customer service via phone, email, chat, and tickets; document in ServiceNow and escalate as needed; troubleshoot user logon and access to the collaboration environment; provide basic how-to guidance to internal and external users. Requires a Bachelor's degree, DoD 8570.01-M compliance with IAT Level I certification and applicable security certifications (A+, CCNA-Security, NET+, SSCP, Security+), and an active TS/SCI with FSP clearance.
