Job Summary
Provide front-line IT technical support to county employees as the first point of contact. Responsibilities include handling high-volume routine service requests and incident tickets, assisting end-users, coordinating with vendors and internal customers for installations, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance issues, monitoring and configuring equipment and systems, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, maintaining inventory of IT assets, and fostering effective communication with coworkers and county staff. Requires an Associate’s degree in IT or related field with two years of IT experience, valid driver’s license, background checks, CJIS and HIPAA training; position is on-site in Austin, MN with non-exempt status.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field
- two (2) years of IT work experience or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Must clear a security background check, including fingerprinting
- CJIS training
- HIPAA training
