Job Summary
Help Desk Technician responsible for being the first point of contact for technical issues across our office and fulfillment environments. Troubleshoots hardware, software, and networking problems for Windows and macOS users; installs, configures, and troubleshoots fulfillment equipment (thermal label printers, scales, scanners); performs basic network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi); supports network infrastructure projects (CAT cabling, patching, cable management, hardware mounting); configures and maintains desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals; maintains documentation in the ticketing system; conducts preventative maintenance; supports technology needs across office and warehouse environments; on-call every other weekend; strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for minimizing downtime and improving user productivity.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–2 years of relevant Help Desk, IT Support, or Technical Support experience preferred
- Proficiency troubleshooting Windows and macOS
- Experience troubleshooting desktop computers, printers, scanners, and related peripherals
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and wireless networking
- Familiarity with Ethernet/CAT cabling
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to read and write in English
- Must have excellent attendance by scheduling days off in advance and arriving to work on time
- Adherence to company safety standards and policies
Desired Qualifications
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ or similar certifications
- Experience with Jira, Zendesk, ServiceNow, or similar ticketing systems
- Warehouse/fulfillment environment experience
- Thermal printers (e.g., Zebra or Dymo) experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
