Job Summary
Help Desk / System Administrator for Wright-Patterson AFB, on-site long-term contract. Responsibilities include Tier 1 support and system administration for AFRL users, resolving hardware/software issues, imaging workstations and peripherals, mobile devices, and guiding users on best practices. Manage and resolve 450-800 tickets per month using Salesforce Service Cloud, adhere to escalation policies and performance thresholds, provide subject matter expertise to optimize help desk resources, and maintain high customer satisfaction. Required skills include strong troubleshooting across Windows, imaging, and mobile devices, excellent communication and documentation, and the ability to work on-site in a secure government environment. Preferred experience includes DoD or federal government IT environments, AFRL/Air Force IT policies, endpoint imaging tools, and MDM. Security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant IT support or system administration experience (Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Systems Administration)
- DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification (451 System Administrator) or equivalent compliant certification
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (Salesforce Service Cloud or similar ITSM platforms)
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows environments, hardware, imaging, and mobile devices
- Excellent customer service, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work on-site in a secure government environment
- U.S. Government security clearance (must possess)
- U.S. Citizenship is required in accordance with government contract requirements
