Job Summary
Provide remote and on-site support for local and distributed staff, troubleshooting advanced Windows workstation issues such as corrupt OS recovery, driver conflicts, and TPM initialization errors. Administer user profiles within a Hybrid Active Directory configuration and assist with the complete Microsoft 365 suite. Utilize NinjaOne for day-to-day remote support, monitoring, patching, and endpoint management, while configuring local and network printing infrastructure. Support onboarding and offboarding processes, manage file permissions within SharePoint, and document all system changes in internal ticketing frameworks. Adhere strictly to institutional security baselines required of a defense contractor for a 150-user, multi-site network footprint.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of dedicated help desk or desktop engineering experience
- Direct, hands-on experience utilizing NinjaOne for patch management, scripting, and endpoint health reporting
- Deep familiarity with Hybrid Active Directory setups, Azure/Entra ID integrations, and SharePoint architecture
- Clear understanding of core TCP/IP principles, network switches, and corporate VPN connectivity client tracking
- Proficient in disassembling, upgrading, and diagnosing physical hardware issues on business-class desktops and laptops, including conference room setup and support for Teams meetings
- Outstanding universal communication skills; ability to explain complex technical fixes in simple language to non-native speakers
- Must be a US Citizen capable of obtaining or maintaining a security clearance
- Direct, hands-on administrative or troubleshooting experience with NinjaOne (or a closely related framework) for remote access, patch deployment, scripting, and endpoint monitoring
- SharePoint Administration, including permissions mapping, document library structure, and site management
- Comprehensive support of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and OneDrive
- Enterprise password management utilities, specifically Keeper Password Manager, to enforce credential hygiene
- Ability to leverage free GenAI tools to accelerate troubleshooting, scripting, and documentation, while strictly maintaining confidentiality guidelines through non-sensitive prompting
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with NIST SP 800-171 or CMMC framework system compliance baselines
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Modern Desktop Administrator, Network+, CompTIA Security+)
