Job Summary
Provide operating systems, information processing, administrative application, infrastructure, and End User support. Oversee day-to-day Help Desk operations, configure and image computers, and support classroom and other hardware. Develop and implement help desk policies, manage vendor relationships, and ensure privacy and data protection compliance. Communicate effectively with peers, users, and management levels; stay current with technology and propose improvements. Requires 2–3 years’ experience, preferably in an educational setting; includes CORI/SORI/background checks; in-person duties with occasional overtime and Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
- Two to three years’ experience in IT support, preferably in an educational setting
- Experience with Windows OS and Microsoft Office 365
- Experience with Outlook in Exchange Environment
- Configure and image computers for users
- Manage vendor relationships
- Develop and implement help desk policies, procedures, and best practices
- Must successfully complete CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information), SORI (Sex Offender Record Information), general and fingerprint-based background checks
