Job Summary

Help Desk Associate providing tier 1 IT support for end-user hardware/software, VoIP, and low-voltage devices (cameras/door access). Responsible for setting up new computers, transferring software/data, enforcing security/compliance programs, maintaining IT infrastructure and applications, troubleshooting hardware/software/network issues, developing technical documentation, and contributing to disaster recovery and business continuity efforts. Requires strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills and familiarity with Windows/Linux environments, AD/Azure AD, GPO, cloud platforms, and scripting.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of IT Systems Administrator/Network Administrator experience
  • Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, AD/Azure AD, GPO, Windows 10/11, Windows Server
  • Familiarity with Linux and Apple OS; MDM and cloud tech (AWS/Azure) a plus
  • Scripting experience (bash, batch, PowerShell, AutoIT, AutoHotKey)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT Systems Administration/Network Administration
  • Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, GPO Management
  • Windows 10/11 and Windows Server administration
  • Experience with Linux OS and Apple OS experience a plus
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
  • Scripting knowledge (bash, batch, PowerShell, AutoIT, AutoHotKey)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
