Job Summary
Conduct medical air transportation for Med-Trans customers using a helicopter, ensuring aircraft readiness per FAR and Med-Trans manuals while maintaining accurate regulatory documentation. Collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, and facilities to safely transport patients, providing shift change information via the Med-Trans change board protocol. Maintain required certifications, ongoing training, and aircraft cleanliness duties within a 7/7 schedule at most locations. As a leader in air medical care, Med-Trans delivers compassionate emergency and patient relocation services through Global Medical Response.
Required Qualifications
- Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
- Helicopter instrument rating
- Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- 2,000 Total Flight Hours
- 1,500 Helicopter Hours
- 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
- 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
- 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
