Job Summary
Conduct safe medical air transportation for Med-Trans customers by working with medical experts to transport patients to and from locations and facilities. Ensure aircraft readiness per manuals including FAR and Med-Trans requirements, while maintaining accurate regulatory documentation and record keeping. Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners, providing shift change information to successive pilots following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details. Maintain required certifications and ongoing training. Operate on a 7/7 schedule with a salary range of $102,072 – $112,280 including a 15% Geographic Modifier, plus a 15K sign-on bonus and retention plans. As part of Global Medical Response's family, deliver compassionate care primarily in emergency and patient relocation services.
Required Qualifications
- Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
- Helicopter instrument rating
- Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- 2,000 Total Flight Hours
- 1,500 Helicopter Hours
- 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
- 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
- 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
- Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training
