Job Summary
Coordinate safe medical air transportation for Med-Trans customers by working with a team of medical experts to transport patients to and from facilities. Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches according to manuals, FAR, and Med-Trans requirements, while maintaining accurate MTC and regulatory documentation. Effectively communicate with dispatch, flight crews, and partners, and provide shift change information following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details. Maintain required certifications and ongoing training to account for all duties. This VFR helicopter pilot role requires an FAA Class II Medical Certificate, current Rotorcraft Commercial Certificate, instrument rating, and 2,000 total flight hours. Starting salary ranges from $88,759 to $97,635 with a 7/7 schedule at most locations.
